Dudhsagar Waterfall Trek is one of the most popular treks in Goa. The trek takes you to the Dudhsagar Waterfall, which flows down from a height of 1200 ft., in the Western Ghats.

The trek is divided into two parts, with a vehicle transfer between each. The first part takes you to Dudhsagar Falls and back; it’s an 8km hike through tropical forest and villages to reach its top.
Be prepared for rain; if it starts to pour while you’re on your way, there are a few tiny shelters along the way where you can wait it out.
After visiting Dudhsagar Falls, head back down in a 4x4 vehicle to a riverside village where you will have lunch before transferring onto Betul beach—located just south of Morjim beach—for some time to relax in hammocks and tents before heading back up north at night.
How to get there?
You can get to Dudhsagar waterfall either by road or train.
By Road: It is 120 km away from Panaji and there are a number of state buses that run between these two cities daily.
By Train: The nearest railway station is at Murchal, located around 22 km away.
Alternatively, you can take a train to Hospet (which has more facilities) and then travel by taxi to reach Dudhsagar waterfall.
If you’re travelling via private vehicle, you can drive to Dudhsagar directly without going through Hospet town. In order to do so though, you need a permit as well as permission from forest officials.

From Panaji Beach, there are three routes to reach Dudhsagar Waterfall: · 1st route: This route starts with an uphill climb of about 2km through forested areas.
This route is not suggested for people who are not physically fit.
