Attempts to organize a humanitarian corridor of Russian-occupied Irpen, Bucha and Gostomel have evacuated some 2,000 people, but more than 4,000 still need to be evacuated from the outskirts of the capital.
Source: Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Vadym Denysenko on Ukrainian TV channels
Direct speech : "70% of Irpen is under our control. A third of the city is under Russian control.
Today there was an attempt to make a humanitarian corridor from Irpen, Bucha, Gostomel. About 2,000 people were evacuated. This is a great breakthrough for us, because these people are hostages of the Russian Federation.
But, unfortunately, more than 4,000 people remain in the occupied territories near Kyiv - Makariv, Gostomel, part of the Borodyanka district and elsewhere. "
Details: Denisenko said that the authorities are doing everything possible to free civilians, but "the Russians are doing everything in their power to ensure that we do not have humanitarian corridors."
